Dosti Group actively participated in the just concluded “Property 2009” Exhibition organized by Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI) at MMRDA Grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex from 9th to 12th April 2009. Shri Deepak Goradia, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Dosti Group is the Joint Hon. Secretary of MCHI and was the Co-Convenor of its Exhibition Committee. The said Exhibition was a great success going by the footfall it generated inspite of the So-called meltdown in the Realty Sector.

DOSTI TRUST, a Trust dedicated to Social welfare of Poor and needy mankind formed by Dosti Group, organized a Mass Adivasi Group Marriage at their APNA FARM located in the District Thane on Sunday, 19th April, 2009. Generally an Adivasi Marriage entails an expenditure of atleast Rs.40-50,000/-and because of their poor status they are forced to borrow for this kind of events and spent their entire lifetime to repay the debt so taken. Hence Dosti Trust took a lead in this Mass Marriage of Adivasis. There were Adivasi Folk Dance, Street Play, Dandia Ras and LokGeet. On this auspicious occasion many Dignitaries and Well Wishers including Dr. Mahesh Rupji Kondhari, Krushi Vighnyan Kendra - Coshbad and Ms. Vidya Chowhan graced the occasion and blessed the wedded couple. Respected Socialist Leader Smt. Mrunal Gore who had agreed to attend this function could not attend due to some other pressing matter.
